Who Are We?

"Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind." (I Peter 3:8)

What a blessing to share our compassion wisdom, love, and understanding! We bring about peace and love by letting God shine all negative thoughts away. We can let God heal all our relationships when we remember who we are.

Who are we anyway? We can be God's love made manifest. If we let God guide us, we can let go of all guilty, unloving, fearful thoughts by taking each one to the Holy Spirit and letting Him bring us back to love.

This week let us walk in gratitude and love. If a thought enters our mind that does not bring us peace, let's take it to the Holy Spirit and let His light guide us to everlasting joy.

Light and love,
Patty

Patty, this is so on point. Thank you for all you do.
Many, many times lately I have read in different places that we have to literally learn to block "guilty, unloving, fearful thoughts by taking each one to the Holy Spirit and letting Him bring us back to love." as you mention in this blog spot.
In "Breaking Free From Guilt" by Mary Whelchel, she asks "How can we break free from the condemnation of guilt? ...we can break free from both the causes of guilt and the negative thoughts that result..." in exactly the same manner you mention - taking them to the Lord, and letting Him help us through His Word.
May God bless you today.

God bless you too, Rozan! Like Katherine Mansfield wrote, "Regret is an appalling waste of energy; you can't build on it; it's only good for wallowing in." I'm not about to wallow, and I know you won't either, Rozan, because that's just not who we are. Have a blessed day! :)
