All across America at this very time, people are sitting down at their tables to eat Thanksgiving dinner. In our family, we are feasting this evening. Most of our guests are here, and last two are arriving in a couple of hours. I gratefully received calls from the ones who couldn't be here and accepted their blessings as well. Our cooking and cleaning is done. Now all we have to do is warm our dinner this evening. My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
This is a perfect day because I did not write the script for what it should bring. I am instead allowing the Holy Spirit to work His perfect plan for this day of celebration. I am serene in the love, peace, and joy of the season. I feel blessed.
"You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you." (Joel 2:26)
I appreciate all our traditional foods and am looking forward to our annual time of counting our blessings before our meal.
May you and yours be blessed as well. I am thankful for you.
Love and Light,
Patty
